ISLAMABAD: The government has reduced the petrol price by Rs1.49 per litre and the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs2.73 per litre, with the revised rates taking effect from September 30, according to a notification issued by the Petroleum Division.
Petrol Price Revised to Rs387.54, Diesel to Rs402.24 Per Litre
Under the latest adjustment, petrol will be available at Rs387.54 per litre, while the price of high-speed diesel has been fixed at Rs402.24 per litre.
The government continues to impose taxes and duties of Rs114 per litre on petrol and Rs100 per litre on diesel.

The latest reduction comes after significant fluctuations in domestic fuel prices in recent months amid movements in international oil markets. HSD had reached a high of Rs520.35 per litre on April 3, while petrol peaked at Rs458.41 per litre on the same date.
