Unprovoked Indian Border Security Force Firing Kills Two Pakistani Civilians Near Kasur Border

Kasur:  Indian Border Security Force (BSF) shot-kills three innocent Pakistanis near Kasur border.

In a tragic escalation of cross-border aggression, unprovoked Indian Border Security Force firing kills two Pakistani civilians near the Pakistan-India border in Kasur. According to state television reports, India has continued its pattern of hostile actions by targeting unarmed individuals in what local authorities describe as an unjustified assault. The victims have been identified as Mohsin Jatt, a resident of Jattaan Wali Haveli, and Azmat Rasool from Lodhar.

The incident occurred when the civilians inadvertently stepped a few paces past the border pillar.

Authorities confirmed that neither individual made any attempt to cross the border fence or violate international boundaries.

This violent action constitutes a flagrant violation of international laws and bilateral border agreements, underscoring the ongoing volatility along the frontier.

Decades of Indian Hostility and Border Aggression

The latest tragedy reflects a long-standing pattern of hostility by Indian forces along the Pakistani border over the past several decades. Historically, the frontier region has witnessed continuous ceasefire violations, unprovoked shellings, and aggressive posture by the military establishment across the border. For decades, these hostile maneuvers have not only targeted military positions but have frequently resulted in the martyrdom of innocent civilians residing in border villages, disrupting livelihoods, agriculture, and community life.

Security analysts note that such aggressive tactics are frequently employed by Indian authorities to divert domestic political attention or maintain a state of artificial tension in the region. Despite various international treaties and diplomatic mechanisms established to maintain peace, the persistent pattern of unprovoked Indian Border Security Force firing kills two Pakistani civilians highlights a systematic disregard for human life and regional stability.

The international community and human rights organizations have repeatedly been urged to take notice of these recurrent violations.
