ISLAMABAD: Gold prices in Pakistan rose again on Thursday, with the price of one tola increasing by Rs600 to Rs435,036, according to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association.
The price of 10 grams of gold also increased by Rs515 to Rs372,973.
Gold had fallen by Rs3,100 per tola in Pakistan on Wednesday.
Gold prices are influenced by several factors in both global and domestic markets, including movements in the US dollar, global economic uncertainty, geopolitical tensions and investor sentiment.
During periods of economic and political uncertainty, investors often turn to gold as a safe-haven asset. Increased demand can push global gold prices higher, while easing uncertainty can put downward pressure on prices.
In Pakistan, local gold prices are influenced not only by international gold rates but also by fluctuations in the rupee-dollar exchange rate, which plays an important role in determining prices in the domestic bullion market.
