QUETTA: Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan organised 63 free medical camps in remote areas of the province in September, providing medical services to 8,150 patients, according to an official statement.
The camps were held in Qila Saifullah, Zhob, Badini, Sherani, Murgha Faqirzai, Pishin and other areas to improve access to healthcare for communities in underserved regions.
Medical teams examined patients free of charge and provided treatment and medicines at the camps.
The initiative placed particular emphasis on the health needs of children, women and elderly people. Medical teams also raised awareness among local residents about health-related issues.
FC Balochistan continues to organise free medical camps in underdeveloped and remote parts of the province to help residents access essential healthcare services.
The initiative forms part of the force’s community outreach efforts alongside its security responsibilities in the province.
