LAHORE: Pakistan opener Saim Ayub has been released from the national squad following a disappointing performance in the first three matches of the tri-nation series.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has included Sahibzada Farhan in the ODI squad in his place.
The PCB has directed Ayub to play domestic cricket, where he will look to regain his lost form and confidence.
Ayub failed to deliver notable performances in the opening three matches of the tri-nation series, prompting the decision to give him an opportunity to rediscover his form through domestic cricket.
