ISLAMABAD: In a strongly worded statement, the Foreign Office Spokesperson declared that the Taliban government is sheltering TTP, Fitna-al-Khawarij, BLA, and Fitna-al-Hindustan, allowing them to use Afghan soil for orchestrating attacks against Pakistan.
The Foreign Office dismissed claims regarding civilian casualties in Pakistan’s counter-terrorism operations as completely unfounded, emphasizing that such misleading narratives cannot conceal the active threat posed by terrorist networks operating from within Afghanistan.
The spokesperson reiterated that the Taliban government is sheltering TTP, Fitna-al-Khawarij, BLA, and Fitna-al-Hindustan, and is directly responsible for preventing Afghan territory from being used for cross-border terrorism.
Furthermore, it was noted that United Nations monitoring reports have repeatedly expressed deep concern over the Taliban administration’s harboring of these terrorist organizations.
Highlighting the human cost, the spokesperson stated that thousands of Pakistanis have been martyred in terrorist attacks planned and financially backed from Afghan soil, adding that Pakistan cannot remain silent in the face of continuous aggression against its citizens and security forces.
Pakistan’s recent military actions were described as a matter of self-defense and a last resort, strictly targeted at terrorists and their logistical hubs within Afghanistan.
Reaffirming the country’s resolve, the spokesperson stressed that while Pakistan has exercised proportionality, caution, and distinction during its responses, the Taliban government is sheltering TTP, Fitna-al-Khawarij, BLA, and Fitna-al-Hindustan, thereby defying international expectations.

The international community has been urged to hold the Afghan Taliban administration accountable for complying with UN Security Council resolutions, while Pakistan maintains its absolute right to take all necessary measures to protect its sovereignty, territorial integrity, and citizens as long as the Taliban government is sheltering TTP, Fitna-al-Khawarij, BLA, and Fitna-al-Hindustan.
