Pakistan Name 15-Member Squad for U19 Asia Cup Title Defence

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan have announced a 15-member squad for the ACC Men’s Under-19 Asia Cup 2026 in Oman, with Farhan Yousuf named captain as they prepare to defend their title.

The eight-team tournament will run from November 5 to 14, with Pakistan opening their campaign against the United Arab Emirates on November 6.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced the squad on Tuesday, saying the tournament would be held in Oman.

Pakistan enter the competition in strong form after defeating England 3-1 in a Youth One-Day International series in September. They won the previous edition of the Under-19 Asia Cup by beating India by 191 runs in the final in Dubai.

Pakistan have been placed in Group A alongside arch-rivals India, the UAE and Nepal. They will face India on November 8 before taking on Nepal on November 10. All of Pakistan’s group-stage matches are scheduled to begin at 10am Pakistan time.

Group B comprises Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Malaysia.

The semifinals are scheduled for November 12, while the final will be played on November 14.
