Killings and Deaths in Balochistan

Balochistan continues to face complex security and safety challenges, characterized by targeted violent attacks, civil unrest, and frequent fatal road accidents.

Remote districts and commercial hubs alike witness target killings carried out by armed assailants, often targeting local business owners, political workers, and security personnel.

The widespread availability of illegal weapons and the extensive geographic landscape pose ongoing obstacles for law enforcement agencies striving to maintain public safety across the province.

In addition to armed violence, fatal traffic collisions contribute significantly to the annual mortality rate in Balochistan.

Inadequate road infrastructure, high-speed transit along major highways, and minimal traffic enforcement frequently lead to severe accidents involving motorcycles and passenger vehicles.

Combining targeted violence with road hazards highlights the critical need for comprehensive security operations alongside infrastructure development.
