Missing Hyderabad Man Found Buried Inside Friend’s House

HYDERABAD: A young man who went missing nearly two weeks ago was found buried inside his friend’s house in Hyderabad after police arrested a suspect and obtained a confession during questioning, officials said.

According to police, the incident occurred within the jurisdiction of Tando Yousuf police station, where the suspect, identified as Qadir, allegedly invited his friend, Ashiq Solangi, to his house and killed him.

Police said the suspect allegedly buried Solangi’s body inside the house in an attempt to conceal the crime and avoid suspicion.

The victim had been missing for around two weeks before police launched an investigation into his disappearance.

Police officials said Qadir was arrested on suspicion and allegedly confessed during interrogation to killing Solangi and burying his body inside the house.

The motive behind the killing has not yet been established, police said.

Authorities said the body will be exhumed on Tuesday under the supervision of a magistrate and sent for a post-mortem examination. Further investigation is underway.

Another Friend Killed in Multan

The incident comes after a similar case reported last month in Shujaabad’s Sikandarabad area of Multan, where a 17-year-old boy was allegedly shot dead by two of his friends.

According to rescue officials, the victim, identified as Ammar, had invited his friends Sanwal and Adnan to his house for a meal.

The two suspects allegedly opened fire as they left the house after having dinner, killing Ammar on the spot.

Police were investigating the circumstances surrounding the killing and the motive behind the attack.
