MUMBAI: Bollywood’s iconic power couple, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan, have once again captured the public eye after sharing delightful details about their romance during a recent appearance on comedian Kapil Sharma’s popular talk show, The Great Indian Kapil Show.
During the episode, Kareena Kapoor Khan revealed a fascinating trivia about their journey to marriage, disclosing that Saif proposed to her on three separate occasions across different international destinations before she finally agreed.
Three Proposals Across the Globe
According to Kareena, Saif first popped the question in Mumbai, followed by a second attempt in Greece, and finally a third time in Paris. While she turned down the first two proposals, the third charm worked, and she finally gave her nod of approval in the romantic capital of France.
Reacting to the confession in his trademark witty style, Saif joked that if she had simply accepted the first proposal in Mumbai, it would have saved him a considerable amount of money in travel and logistics.
A Decade of Romance and Family
Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan first grew close during the filming of their movie Tashan in 2007. After dating for several years, the couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Mumbai in October 2012.
