ISLAMABAD: Murad Saeed is Operating from Afghanistan is a claim made by Advisor to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs Rana Sanaullah, who alleged that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader is currently residing in Afghanistan and influencing political developments in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from across the border.
Speaking during a current affairs program, Rana Sanaullah asserted that Murad Saeed is directing the provincial administration and played a key role in the appointment of Sohail Afridi as Chief Minister. He noted that claims suggest the founding PTI chairman was initially unaware of Afridi’s political positioning.

Commenting on the deadlock in recent political engagements, Sanaullah maintained that the federal government entered negotiations in complete good faith, offering terms that fully met opposition demands.
“We offered them everything they demanded in good faith. The primary reason behind the failure of these negotiations is Sohail Afridi and the individual pulling strings from behind the scenes, Murad سعید,” he stated.

Addressing the broader political climate in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sanaullah remarked that Ali Amin Gandapur is not being assigned major responsibilities under the current framework. He emphasized that the newly structured political setup in the province has been arranged deliberately and with careful strategic calculation.
