Highlighting this public sentiment, a grand jirga was recently convened in Jhal Magsi, where prominent members of the Magsi tribe pledged full cooperation with the state to maintain public order and thwart any efforts aimed at damaging peace in the area.

Demonstrating strong civil-military synergy, an exchange of fire occurred on October 1 near a newly established security post on the Panjuk–Dam route. Following an attack initiated by armed miscreants, personnel stationed at the checkpoint swiftly retaliated to neutralize the threat. Demonstrating solidarity with security institutions, armed members of the local Magsi tribe promptly arrived at the scene to reinforce the state’s security posture and assist in securing the perimeter.
