LAHORE: Pakistan cricket team’s wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan has received a second notice from the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) in connection with an ongoing inquiry.
According to close sources, Mohammad Rizwan was served the notice directly at his home address, directing him to appear before the NCCIA Cyber Crime Reporting Center in Lahore on October 2 at 3:00 PM along with his legal counsel.
The notice specifies that the national cricketer’s confiscated mobile phone requires detailed analysis and forensic evaluation.
Sources indicate that while the latest notice does not explicitly detail the core allegations against Mohammad Rizwan, and a prior communication sent to the agency remained unanswered, the prominent player intends to officially seek clarification regarding the charges during his scheduled appearance.
