PESHAWAR: Police and intelligence agencies killed a suspected terrorist involved in the assassination of renowned cleric and former Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) MPA Maulana Muhammad Idrees during a joint intelligence-based operation in Bara, Khyber district, police said.

The operation followed intelligence about the militant’s return to Pakistan after he fled to Afghanistan following the killing of Sheikh Idrees.
