MASHKHEL: Security forces successfully thwarted a major terrorist attack targeting a security post in the Mashkhel area of Balochistan, inflicting heavy casualties on the attackers.
Security Forces Foil Major Attack on Checkpost
According to official sources, a group of armed militants attempted to storm the checkpost, but security personnel positioned at the location responded swiftly and courageously. In the intense exchange of fire, six terrorists were killed on the spot, while four security personnel sustained injuries in the line of duty. Official reports confirm that the injured soldiers were immediately provided medical treatment and are completely out of danger.
Authorities cautioned the public and media against unverified propaganda being circulated on social media by proscribed militant outfits, including the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), and newly created hostile accounts attempting to misinform the public regarding the incident. Official sources emphasized the importance of relying on verified government and military updates rather than propaganda designed to distort facts.
