ISLAMABAD: An anti-terrorism court in Islamabad has ordered authorities to ensure the appearance of PTI founder Imran Khan at the next hearing of the Judicial Complex attack case.
The case was heard by Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Tahir Abbas Supra, who directed that Khan be produced before the court either physically or through video link at the next hearing.
The court also declared senior PTI leaders Farrukh Habib, Hammad Azhar, Murad Saeed and Shibli Faraz proclaimed offenders over their continued absence from the proceedings.
The court further sought details of the movable and immovable properties owned by the accused who have been declared proclaimed offenders.
Meanwhile, non-bailable arrest warrants were issued for other absent accused, including Wasif Qayum and Hassan Khan Niazi.
The court adjourned further proceedings until Nov. 5.
The case was registered at Islamabad’s Ramna Police Station against PTI leaders and workers over allegations of vandalism outside the Judicial Complex and interference in government affairs.
