DC Directs Hospitals to Provide Best Medical Care

The deputy commissioner instructed the relevant authorities to ensure the provision of the best possible medical facilities to the injured passengers and stressed that no negligence should be tolerated in their treatment.

A similar fatal road accident occurred on the Indus Highway in the Shah Wali area of Rajanpur in December 2022, when two passenger buses collided, killing eight people and injuring more than 25 others.

Initial reports at the time cited dense fog and overspeeding as the possible causes of that accident.
