QUETTA: Security forces killed one terrorist and injured another during an exchange of fire in Washuk, Balochistan, on Thursday, October 22, 2026.
According to security sources, the forces were conducting an area sanitisation operation in Washuk city following credible intelligence about suspicious activity.
During the operation, security personnel challenged two motorcyclists and ordered them to stop. However, the suspects opened fire, triggering an exchange of fire.
As a result, one terrorist was killed while another was injured. Security forces continued the sanitisation operation in the area.
