PANJGUR: The family of a man identified as Arshad Gand, who was affiliated with the banned Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF), has publicly disowned his association with the group and reaffirmed its loyalty to Pakistan.
The family held a press conference in Panjgur, expressing regret over Arshad Gand’s association with the banned organisation and seeking forgiveness from the state.
According to the family, Arshad Gand became a facilitator for the BLF in 2025, allegedly motivated by financial incentives, before subsequently joining the organisation.
The family said Arshad Gand was killed by security forces on September 14, 2026, after becoming associated with the banned group.
Expressing shame over his affiliation, the family said it sought forgiveness from the state and pledged continued loyalty to Pakistan.
The family also vowed not to become involved in activities that it considered harmful to the country.
