Pakistan Air Force Launch Successful Test of Air to Air Faaz Missile

Pakistan Air Force Operational Flexibility Enhanced with Successful Flight Test of Indigenously Developed Fa'az Air-to-Air Missile

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Air Force has launched a successful test of air to air Faaz missile. According to the details,  Pakistan has achieved another significant milestone in the advancement of its national aerospace and defense capabilities by conducting a successful flight test of its first indigenously developed Fa’az air-to-air missile.

The test underscores the technical maturity, innovation, and self-reliance achieved by the country’s defense industry.

Equipped with a state-of-the-art terminal guidance system, the missile is designed to engage enemy aerial targets at longer ranges.

With this landmark achievement, the Pakistan Air Force operational flexibility enhanced with successful flight test of indigenously developed Fa’az air-to-air missile, thereby significantly strengthening Pakistan’s overall defense posture.

The launch event was witnessed by senior officers of the Pakistan Armed Forces, alongside distinguished scientists and engineers who played a pivotal role in designing and developing this advanced weapon system.

Acknowledging the breakthrough, the Pakistan Air Force operational flexibility enhanced with successful flight test of indigenously developed Fa’az air-to-air missile drew high praise from national leadership.

The President, Prime Minister of Pakistan, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) & Chief of Defence Forces (CDF), and the Services Chiefs extended their heartiest congratulations to the scientists and engineers on this remarkable national accomplishment.

The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has strategically evolved into a modern, networked aerospace force by integrating advanced technology and indigenously developed weapon systems.

A prime testament to this capability is the successful flight-testing of its first indigenous air-to-air missile, the Fa’az. Mounted on front-line platforms like the JF-17 Thunder, the Fa’az missile features a state-of-the-art terminal guidance system designed to engage enemy aerial targets at extended ranges, significantly augmenting PAF’s operational flexibility and strategic deterrence.

Beyond indigenous missile developments, the PAF continues to enhance its overall combat posture through high-tech electronic warfare systems, modern radar arrays, precision-guided munitions, and long-range engagement capabilities.
