DHAKA: A 35-year-old man in Bangladesh has gone viral on social media after claiming to have married 21 times, although he reportedly cannot remember all his wives’ names.
According to local media reports, the man, identified as Moro Mia, says he has never proposed marriage to a woman himself. Instead, he claims women approached him with marriage proposals, which he found difficult to refuse.
Moro Mia said he accepted each proposal because he could not bring himself to turn the women down, eventually bringing the number of marriages he claims to have had to 21.
Despite his extraordinary claim, the man reportedly lives in a one-room hut and relies mainly on begging to meet his family’s basic needs.
His story has attracted attention online because of the contrast between his reported living conditions and his claim of having married more than 20 times.
