LAHORE: Pakistani actress Vaniza Sattar has reacted to rumours circulating on social media about her alleged marriage to cricketer Shoaib Malik, accusing some people of spreading false stories about celebrities to gain views.
Sattar expressed her frustration by sharing a viral video clip on her Instagram Story. Reacting to the rumours, she wrote, “Oh my God, not again!”
The actress said there were countless topics people could discuss, yet some chose to spread fabricated stories about others simply to attract views.
This is not the first time Sattar has addressed rumours linking her to Malik. She has previously clarified during television appearances that she has never met the cricketer in person. She has also questioned how the rumours originated and what facts, if any, supported them.
According to Sattar, she initially dismissed the claims as a joke. However, the situation became concerning when her friends and relatives contacted her family to verify whether the reports were true.
Following the latest wave of speculation, the actress urged social media users to refrain from spreading unverified information about celebrities’ private lives and to verify claims before sharing them online.
