ISLAMABAD: The important details regarding transferring Tauqir Nazir to CCD have been unveiled. According to the details, the tragic death of a 15-year-old orphan in Multan has uncovered critical procedural details regarding the transfer of the primary suspect, Tauqeer Nazir, to the Counter Crime Department (CCD) in Bahawalpur. This high-profile development has drawn significant public attention as authorities clarify the legal grounds and administrative decisions behind the suspect’s relocation.
According to insider sources, an emergency late-night meeting held in Multan initially involved CCD officials arguing that Tauqeer Nazir possessed no prior criminal record, while also noting that the case did not strictly fall under a high-profile category.
However, the trajectory of the investigation shifted following intervention from a senior CCD official based in Lahore. Meanwhile, Multan CPO Akhtar Farooq maintained that the case transfer was executed upon a formal request filed by the CCD.
District Officer CCD Tahir Majeed further elaborated on the legal framework, stating that while 17 distinct categories of serious crimes fall under the overarching purview of the CCD, current standard operating procedures (SOPs) prioritize 6 to 7 specific types of offenses.
He emphasized that the relevant ordinance provides clear provisions allowing for the legal transfer of cases to the department.

It was a couple of days earlier when Waseem Abbas, a 15 year old boy fled from his workplace on account of inappropriate behaviour of the overseers . However, Tauqir Nazir , one of the owners of the workplace , chased the youth on a road.
Despite an intense effort made to escape, Waseem was hit by Touqir’s car and died after sustaining serious injuries.
