SOUTH WAZIRISTAN: Pakistan gave a befitting response to Afghan Taliban’s hostility in Angoor Adda area.
According to the sources, Pakistani security forces delivered an immediate, robust, and disproportionate response to unprovoked firing by Afghan interim Taliban forces targeting civilian populations in the Angoor Adda sector of Lower South Waziristan.
According to security sources, retaliatory strikes successfully targeted and destroyed multiple Afghan Taliban border checkpoints and mortar positions, inflicting severe casualties and heavy material damage on the aggressive forces (TTA).
The retaliatory action came in direct response to Afghan forces opening fire on residential areas, endangering innocent human lives.
Pakistani security forces effectively neutralized the hostile posts and silenced the enemy positions.
Defense officials reiterated that Pakistan’s Armed Forces remain on high alert along the Durand Line, firmly resolved to safeguard national sovereignty, protect citizens, and respond decisively to any cross-border violations or hostility.
