DUKI: Tragic road accident in Duki causes three deaths.
According to the details, a joyous wedding procession turned into tragedy on Wednesday when a pick-up vehicle carrying wedding guests lost control and overturned in the Rabat area of Duki District.
The devastating accident resulted in the immediate deaths of three young girls, while 20 others including children and women sustained injuries.
Following this tragic road accident, an emergency was declared at the local hospital.
According to police sources, all three victims who lost their lives are innocent young girls, and the majority of the injured are also children.
Upon receiving information, rescue and relief teams immediately rushed to the scene, transferring the bodies and all the injured to the local hospital.
After receiving initial first aid, two critically injured individuals were referred to Loralai Hospital due to their serious condition.
In his initial statement to the police, the pick-up driver stated that the terrifying road accident occurred after the vehicle’s steering suddenly locked up.
Fortunately, the driver remained uninjured. Police authorities have stated that all aspects of the incident are being thoroughly investigated to determine the exact facts.
