Security Forces Kill Two Khawarij Terrorists in Quadcopter Strike in Ziarat

ZIARAT: Pakistani security forces killed two militants affiliated with Fitna al Khawarij in a precision quadcopter strike during an intelligence-based operation in Balochistan’s Ziarat district.

The military sources said that the operation was conducted under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3, following continuous aerial surveillance to track the movements of the militants, according to the military.

A video released by security forces shows they monitored the suspects through quadcopter surveillance before accurately engaging their positions. The strike resulted in the killing of two militants, the statement said.

Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the bodies of the slain militants following the operation.

The latest action is part of an ongoing counterterrorism campaign across Balochistan, where security forces have intensified intelligence-based operations against Indian proxies- Fitna al Hindustan and Fitna al Khawarij- hideouts, operational networks and suspected safe havens.

Under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3, security forces have carried out operations in several districts, including Mastung, Bolan, Washuk, Awaran, Sibi, Khuzdar, Harnai and Noshki.

On August 9, security sources reported that 15 militants had been killed in operations across several of these areas. Weapons and ammunition were also recovered during the operations.

Subsequent actions under the campaign have targeted militant positions in other parts of the province, including Washuk, Panjgur, Chagai and Kalat.

Security forces have vowed to continue operations against terror networks and deny them the ability to use remote areas of Balochistan as hideouts and bases for carrying out attacks.

The latest operation highlights the military’s continued reliance on intelligence-led operations and aerial surveillance to track and target militant movements across the province.
