PESHAWAR: A deputy assistant director of the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) was shot dead near the NADRA office in Hayatabad Phase 5, Peshawar, police said.
The victim was identified as Fahad, son of Sharoom. He was attacked in the area behind the NADRA office.
According to police, investigators recovered eight empty bullet casings from a .30-bore pistol at the crime scene.
Police are examining CCTV footage from the office parking area to identify the suspects involved in the killing.
The motive behind the attack was not immediately known.
