MUMBAI: Security agencies in Mumbai have initiated a comprehensive investigation after a synthetic bomb threat to Amitabh Bachchan’s residence, the Mumbai High Court, and singer Diljit Dosanjh’s upcoming concert venue was received via email.
According to police sources, the hoax email targeted Amitabh Bachchan’s bungalow ‘Jalsa’, the Mumbai High Court premises, and the Mahalaxmi Racecourse, where singer Diljit Dosanjh is scheduled to perform on November 27.
Emergency search protocols were immediately deployed across all specified locations, but officials later confirmed that no suspicious items were found, declaring the bomb threat to Amitabh Bachchan’s residence a hoax.
This incident marks the second time in recent weeks that high-profile Bollywood figures and public venues have received malicious messages.
The investigative authorities are examining IP logs and digital footprints associated with the email to track down the perpetrators behind the bomb threat to Amitabh Bachchan’s residence.
