Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3 Was Launched Following Actionable Intelligence
According to security sources, the operation was launched following actionable intelligence received on November 2, indicating that a heavily armed group of eight to ten terrorists was planning to establish an illegal blockade (naka) to target commuters and disrupt security along the vital highway corridor.
Responding swiftly to the threat, combat teams were immediately mobilized and deployed to seal off the designated area. Upon being intercepted by security personnel, the cornered terrorists opened indiscriminate fire, prompting a robust and decisive counter-attack from the troops.
In the ensuing firefight, four terrorists were sent to hell, while their remaining accomplices managed to flee under the cover of rugged terrain.
Security forces have cordoned off the entire sector, and a comprehensive search and clearance operation is currently underway to hunt down and apprehend the fleeing remnants. Military and law enforcement authorities have reiterated their unwavering resolve to eradicate the menace of terrorism and ensure the safety of citizens along critical national arteries at all costs.
