Sindh Assembly Has Put a Full Stop to the Issue of a New Province, Says Bilawal Bhutto

KARACHI: Sindh Assembly Has Put a Full Stop to the Issue of a New Province, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said, reiterating his party’s position on the debate over the creation of a separate province in Sindh. He also called for greater cooperation between federal and provincial institutions to address Karachi’s development challenges and improve public services.

Speaking at a ceremony marking the restoration of the historic Spencer’s Eye Hospital in Lyari and the provision of free medical facilities, Bilawal criticised the federal government’s approach to Karachi. He alleged that the federal administration was not giving sufficient attention to the city’s development and accused its representatives of promoting division and hostility instead of focusing on public welfare.

The PPP chairman stressed that effective governance and meaningful public service required coordination between federal and provincial governments. He said cooperation between the two levels of government was essential to address the needs of Karachi’s residents and improve their quality of life.
