Unrest and Target Killing in Balochistan
Balochistan has long faced complex security challenges characterized by persistent violence, target killings, and insurgent activity.
Unidentified armed groups and militant factions frequently target political figures, security personnel, government officials, and civilians to disrupt local administration and project fear.
These incidents occur across both urban centers like Quetta and remote regional districts such as Sibi and Buleda.
The proliferation of illegal weapons, combined with vast geographic terrain and proximity to porous borders, complicates law enforcement efforts.
Violent attacks on political affiliates and community members undermine local governance and hamper socio-economic development.

Addressing this ongoing instability requires a comprehensive strategy that combines enhanced intelligence-led security operations, strict border monitoring, and targeted socio-economic outreach to restore long-term peace and stability across the province.
