ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has issued a notice to Madrasa Akhtar-ul-Uloom, linked to Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, over alleged violations of building regulations in Islamabad’s Bilal Town.
According to the notice, the madrasa’s building was constructed without an approved building plan, in violation of the Islamabad Capital Territory Building Control Regulations 2020.
The CDA has directed the madrasa administration to submit the building plans to the relevant authority within 15 days.
It has warned that failure to meet the legal requirements within the stipulated period could lead to action under the relevant provisions, including the sealing of the building.
The notice puts the madrasa administration under pressure to regularise the construction or face possible enforcement action by the civic authority.
