MUMBAI: Kareena Kapoor Joins Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘King’ as the Bollywood actress has sparked excitement among fans by sharing a special birthday post for the superstar, offering a glimpse of their much-anticipated on-screen reunion.
Marking Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday, Kareena shared a celebratory message on social media, calling him the “eternal ruler of the empire” and expressing her excitement about dancing alongside him. Her post also mentioned December 24, 2026, the scheduled release date of the film.
Producer Gauri Khan also responded enthusiastically to the post, commenting, “This is going to be epic!”, further fuelling excitement among fans.

According to media reports, Kareena is expected to make a special appearance rather than play a full-length leading role in the film. She is reportedly set to feature in a major song sequence titled Daddy Cool, which is expected to be filmed in South Africa later this month.
The track is reportedly being composed by musical duo Sachin–Jigar and is expected to feature a prominent Indian artist alongside an international performer.
