ISLAMABAD: The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has announced a comprehensive recruitment drive for numerous government positions spanning Basic Pay Scales (BPS) 16 to 20 across various federal ministries, departments, and autonomous institutions.
The latest openings offer extensive career opportunities for qualified candidates across medical, engineering, administrative, audit, finance, legal, and scientific disciplines.
FPSC Announces Massive Recruitment Drive for Federal Government Departments
According to the official advertisement released by the Commission, the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has announced a wide range of job opportunities across multiple sectors. Key vacancies include 160 positions for Assistant Audit Officers (BPS-17) under the Auditor General of Pakistan, alongside 25 demonstrator posts (BPS-17) at the Federal Medical College and 6 Professor (BPS-20) and 2 Associate Professor (BPS-19) positions at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) in Islamabad.
In the defense sector, openings feature 10 Nursing positions (BPS-16) at the Armed Forces Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine (AFIRM) under the Ministry of Defense, as well as 4 Civilian Medical Practitioner posts (BPS-17) at General Headquarters (GHQ). Furthermore, the Ministry of Railways and the Ministry of Planning offer multiple engineering and administrative roles including Assistant Engineers (BPS-17), Assistant Executive Engineers, Assistant Controllers, Assistant Mechanical Engineers, and an Assistant Director Legal alongside vacancies for Deputy Chiefs, Assistant Chiefs, Research Officers, and 12 positions in the Economist Group.
Additional specialized and regional roles comprise an Assistant Draftsman (BPS-18) in the Ministry of Law, an Assistant Director (BPS-17) in the Ministry of Religious Affairs, a Deputy Director (BPS-18) in the National Heritage Division, a Budget Publication Officer (BPS-18) in the Finance Division, and various openings across departments in Gilgit-Baltistan.

FPSC has confirmed that all recruitments will strictly adhere to regional, provincial, and women’s quotas as per established federal governance rules.
